night bloom
stayed in the room and rested all day, then went out in the evening to a place where cherry blossoms are in bloom and illuminated.
not much to write about today, but i took a bunch of great photos.
our host, shinobu-san, and her friend kyoko-san took me out to a place that is not super well known among tourists that has a bunch of cherry blossom trees that get lit up at night. felt like i got access to a secret place tourists aren’t supposed to know about.
cherry blossoms here are amazing. not only because they are a beautiful tree, but because the people here are really really into it. it brings people immense joy. tons of people walking around just reveling in it. i could write some philosophical thing about the cycle of birth and death or whatever, but they are just really pretty trees.
